With this in mind, the company has four dedicated specialist divisions: Electrical, Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Precast. |
Electrical division:
The Electrical division was formed in 1987 when the number and size of projects grew so much that it was necessary to move trades in-house rather then to hire subcontractors. This was in 1987, with the division having grown alongside the general expansion of the company itself. Today, its workforce of more than 250 handles all of the company's projects - more than 250 in the United Arab Emirates so far. |
Plumbing division:
 Set up in 1985, the plumbing division, also with a workforce of more than 250 highly trained personnel, undertakes an average of around 30 projects at any one time. They start work on construction sites as soon as the contract is signed, able to make such an early start because of the forward planning carried out for them within the company. An important responsibility of this division is to co-ordinate with local government departments for the temporary connection of water and sewerage facilities to be used during the construction period. |
Precast division:
The precast division is engaged in design, engineering, production and erection of projects by introducing precast/pre-stressed structural and architectural concrete elements. A corporate member of American Concrete Institute (ACI) and Precast/Pre-stressed Institute (PCI), the precast division has established a 15,000 sq.m. covered production facility on a 35,000 sq.m. Plot at Jebel Ali Industrial Area. This state-of-the art facility showcase the latest developments in manufacturing techniques of precast/pre-stressed concrete and enables the division to produce 80,000 cubic meters of precast/pre-stressed elements annually. |
Air conditioning division:
Formed in 1996, the air conditioning division replaced the need for subcontractors to provide essential requirement in this category. Under the control of the A/C manager, it co-ordinates with civil works authorities and other services and departments represented at the site, and also co-ordinates the execution of work with electrical and plumbing divisions. |
